Why you should have an oximeter at home

You may have noticed recently that there seems to be a lot of mention about something called an 'Oximeter' and the importance of having one in your home, particularly with the current pandemic.

One of the many side effects of Covid19 which has affected many, is the oxygen levels within the blood dropping drastically without the individual even noticing. The drop in oxygen levels itself is called ‘silent hypoxia’.

However a potentially life saving solution is the Pulse Oximeter which allows people to monitor their oxygen levels at home. They monitor the oxygen levels in the blood by being placed on the tip of your finger, there’s no pain involved at all.

Luckily enough Chums has an oximete r for £30, it’s small and compact so you can take it round the house with you or out on your daily walks to keep a check on those all-important oxygen levels.

Normal oxygen levels should be between 95 and 100% so our oximeter will give you a perfect indication if your levels go below anything than 95%.
