These cotton trousers are made of excellent cotton material. Tried so many different companies online only to be disappointed when they arrive. Either the material can be too thick or too rubbish or the length can be too long I am now only 5” 3” and the majority of companies only cater for taller people. Therefore, I was unexpectedly surprised to find that Chums made a good quality cotton pair of trousers with a choice of length as well as an elasticated waist with a chord put through. I think they made too mistakes as far as I’m concerned. Why didn’t they make them in white for the Summer and I think they should reconsider and only put elastic round the back and still have the tie chord running through. BETTER STILL, DON’T EVEN BOTHER WITH ELASTIC JUST PUT THE CHORD THROUGH. IHOPETHEY WILL TAKE MY ADVICE ONBOARD. PERHAPS THEY DID DO THEM IN WHITE AND I MISSED OUT BUT NOW I HAVE FOUND THESE I AM JUST ABOUT O ORDER ANOTHER COLOUR. IT’S A BIT LATE N THE YEAR SO IVE MISSED OUT ON SOME COLOURS I WANTED BUT I SHALL BE WAITING EARLY NEXT YEAR AS SOON AS THEY START SELLING THEM, ALSO PRAYING THEY WILL MAKE SOME WHITE ONES.

The cotton material of these ladies trousers are of very good quality. They are ideal for the Summer and the length that I ordered, as I am now only about 5’ 3”, was perfect. I think, although the fit of these trousers are fairly accurate, if you are between sizes then I would choose the smaller size. The only thing I would suggest to Chums is that instead of putting elastic all the way round they should only put it round the back with the adjustable cord through the front. Because I have a slightly large stomach, I have had to unpick the front, remove the elastic to make it fit. This took me ages, but now it’s perfect. I HOPE THEY WILL TAKE NOTE OF MY SUGGESTION. ALSO, WHY ON EARTH DON’T THEY MAKE THESE IN CREAM OR WHITE - THEY MUST REALISE THESE ARE SUMMER COLOURS. COME ON CHUMS, GET WITH IT.
