During these colder months, we're all wondering how to keep our homes warm with many of us worried about high energy costs. A few key pieces around your home could help reduce energy costs for years to come, so we've rounded up a few ideas from our winter warmers collection on how to stay warm this winter and hopefully help cut down on heating bills.

COSY UP WITH COMFY LAYERS

It may seem obvious, but a great way to warm up on cold nights and avoid using too much energy is simply layering up. Keeping extra soft furnishings to hand can make all the difference in saving money on your heating. So before turning up the thermostat, grab yourself a warm blanket to snuggle up in. Small halogen heaters are most cost efficient and can warm up your room quickly. Enjoy a snuggly sleep by adding an electric under blanket to ensure you're not hit by cold sheets as you climb in to bed. At only 3p an hour to run, it's a cost efficient option to heating the room. When the radiators are switched on, ensure they heat your room and not the walls by adding radiator reflectors.
