The item ordered was a fold up travel wheel chair. It's well made, good quality and very sturdy.
The wheel chair so stiff that I couldn't unfold it. Hence the 3 stars
My son came round and he's a strong fella and it took him 30mins to get it unfolded. Over the next 10days my son came round each day and unfolded it, though it was still almost impossible. Then each day I spent some time sitting in it to try and make it not so stiff. Towards the end of 10 days we applied some Vaseline to the joint mechanisms which solved the problem of it being too stiff to unfold. It might be worth Chums contacting the supplier as the wheel chair is just too stiff to unfold especially for an older person. It was 3 weeks before I could unfold and fold it up to take my husband out in it.
I wouldn't recommend this wheel chair purely based on it being too stiff to fold and unfold without assistance from a much younger, stronger person.
